The Adumaran Armed Forces, or AAF, is the military branch of the Adumaran government, and is run by the Grand General during peace time. But if the Chancellor declares a state of emergency, he assumes control of the AAF, and all Military Leaders are knocked down a rank temporarily. There are 4 main branches of the AAF, the Army, Navy, Air Force, and ANSC(Adumaran National Security Command).

The Army is further divided into 2 primary branches:
Expeditionary Forces
The Adumaran Expeditionary Forces act as the AAF's Marine force, but number far larger than most other nations' marine forces. The Expeditionary Forces has approximately 168,000 personnel, all specially trained in rifling skills, maritime assault, basic machine operation, hand-to-hand combat, and basic first aid. Truly a force to reckon with. The Expeditionary Assault Forces can operate on domestic soil if necessary, but that is typically a job for the Federal Army.
Federal Army
The Federal Army is the primary land military force of the AAF, and despite not being trained as much as Expeditionary Assault troopers, are still quite an elite force. The Federal Army contains approximately 514,695 personnel, all of whom are trained in rifling skills, basic machine operation, hand-to-hand combat, and basic first aid. The Federal Army operates wherever necessary, having no operation restrictions.
Common AEF and Army Assault Tactics
A standard Infantry Fireteam consists of the Team Leader, typically a Corporal, who stands at the front of the formation, the Automatic Rifleman, a standard Rifleman, and the Team Grenadier. When a Squadron is in the field, for either Reconnaissance, Combat, or some other purpose, another Squadron, typically of the same platoon, is on standby with a Helicopter for emergency exfiltration or to assist the first team in their goal(s). When the second squad is sent in, a third is put on standby, and so on.
When in a hostile environment and surrounded by enemies, the Team leader is always in the most secure location, and is protected at all costs, as he doubles as the communications specialist of the team, and is sometimes the only way home for the men.
Army Peacekeepers
Federal Army or Expeditionary soldiers can be converted into Peacekeeping units if a situation so desires it. Usually, the soldier keeps his/her primary and secondary arms, as well as his/her helmet. But the vest is changed out for a blank white vest to symbolize the less aggressive nature. Peacekeepers are usually deployed if local police cannot control a situation, or if the AAF is occupying a foreign city or territory. Peacekeeper vehicles are also usually either painted completely white, or have thick white stripes on them.

Adumaran National Security Command
The Adumaran National Security Command, or ANSC, is the smallest branch of the AAF, and often not considered a part of the AAF. The ANSC primarily deals with Anti-Drug smuggling and Anti-Piracy, and acts as the National Guard for Adumara, thought still utilizing Military-Grade weaponry. The ANSC uses several vehicles that perform well in very select conditions. They also mainly operate in Brown-Water zones, such as rivers, marshes, lakes, and streams,in civilian and urban territory, as well as deep in the Jungles, Mountains, and woods of Adumara. Their Arsenal of vehicles includes 12 Patrol Craft, 47 Heavy Transport Helicopters, 72 Light Patrol Vehicles, 134 Medium Cargo trucks, 6 Armored Engineering Vehicles, 7 Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicles, 26 Small Unit Riverine Crafts, and 14 specialized Airboats for use in the Adumaran jungles and swamps.
