Ported from Wikipedia; original template page exists at Wikipedia:Template:Infobox_language/genetic.

Basically assigns a color based on a language family, just like Wikipedia does. Primarily for internal use by Template:Infobox_language. It's hypothetically possible to add more colors/categories for languages that originate from entirely new, NationStates-specific fictional families, though it's probably a good idea to test these changes first to make sure they don't break pages that use Template:Infobox_language.
