The 1st Socialist Government was a coalition of the Socialist Party and the Green Party, comprising 56 seats. The President was Elisabeth Harland and the Vice-President was Josef Cervenka. All members were elected by closed-list proportional representation, but each party is required to host a membership vote or primary to determine the list order.
