Valkany recently saw a short period as a Federal Republic, after the VKIP party rigged elections, but the plot was revealed and the Royalists in the Armed Forces, organized by the Royal Nautilus Order, forced the arrest of the "High Consul". The Monarchy was restored after the Nautilus Party won the elections and the Crown Prince in exile returned to claim his throne successfully.
