This si a list of the Governors of New France from the region's foundation in 1795 to nowdays.
The governor of New France (In french Gouverneur général du Nouveau France) is the governor representing the monarch at the regional institutions of New France. The governor general is appointed by the king ludovician, sometimes on the advice of the prime minister. The Governor shall have the constitutional and ceremonial duties in place of the king, and shall hold office for a period of time that has no formal limits but which is typically five years.
