In Kotvarianism, it is believed that there are two High Gods: Polozhi (Chaos) and Otritsa (Order). Polozhi and Otritsa were birthed from Nichego (Nothingness), who has existed since before time began. Polozhi and Otritsa coalesced into one being, known in Kotvarianism as Tseli (Everything). From Tseli would be birthed Zemlya (Goddess of the Earths), Efir (God of the Skies), Zamoroz (God of Water), Zhigani (Goddess of Fire), and Rastoch (God of Normalcy). From these five gods and goddesses would sprout everything in the universe.

Kotvarianism is the religion of many ethnic Kostuvians. It is either the most popular or the second-most popular religion within the nations that once made up Kostuvastan.

Beliefs

Kotvarianism revolves around the concept of Irmov, a concept that teaches the actions one executes will result in consequences, be it in life or death.

World Origins

Orthodox versus North Kotvarianism

The separation between Orthodox and North Kotvarianism stems from which god is believed to be the ruler of gods. According to Orthodox Kotvarianism, Pervob, God of the Id, was such a powerful being, that any who opposed and resisted his influence would experience severe pain and suffering. In North Kotvarianism, Efir is the ruler of the gods, being so mentally enlightened that reason and wisdom overpowered the primal beings of Pervob, Voyna, and Zhigani.
