Small arms
Howa Type 89 Assault Rifle 5.56x45mm (.223 Winchesthair) GSDF, NSF Newest rifle in the Howa line, standard rifle for Naval Security Forces and SGSDF troops. Type 89 Assault Rifle JGSDF.jpg
Howa Type 64 Battle Rifle 7.62x51mm (.308 Winchesthair) GSDF, MSDF, RSMC An old rifle from the 1960s, the Howa Type 64 was originally developed for the Ancradian military but it was rejected solely due to the fact that Howa was a Setznan company. It was commonly used by Setznan rebels during the 1972 coup d'tat as it was cheap and easy to find in the black market. After the formation of the SSDF, the Type 64 was adopted as the standard issue rifle of the Defense Force. It still serves with many reserve and second line units in the Ground Self Defense Forces today. The Marine Corps kept the Howa Type 64 in service as the Type 64/Kai with little changes to the original firearm besides the bolt moving to the right hand side of the rifle and a new picatinny rail being put in place for the ability to mount an optic. The Type 64 can be found in shipboard armories as a weapon for sailors to defend themselves with. Howa Type 64.jpg
Mk14 EBR Battle Rifle 7.62x51mm (.308 Winchesthair) GSDF, MSDF, RSMC Standard Designated Marksman Rifle used by all branches. Mk14 EBR.jpg

Cole M1911A2 Pistol .45 ACP RSMC Standard infantry sidearm chosen by the Marine Corps. Favored over the PM-9 by the Marine Corps for it's constant reliability and long term service with both the late Ancradian Empire and the former Setznan Armed Forces. An essentially modernized version of the original M1911. M1912A1.jpg
Banelo M1014 Shotgun 12 gauge GSDF, RSMC, MSDF Standard go-to shotgun for close quarters engagements and breaching, although the old Remington 870 does the trick too. Benelli m4.jpg
Sumimoto M2 Browning Machine Gun Heavy Machine Gun .50 BMG GSDF, RSMC, MSDF, ASDF Standard HMG of the Defense Forces, can be commonly found on vehicles and in machine gun nests. M2 Browning, Musée de l'Armée.jpg
