Beatrix von Schmidt (born 1974) is a Braslander businesswoman. She is the daughter of Georg von Schmidt.
She studied Political Science in England and worked in British and American newspapers for eight years. She returned to Brasland in 2004 and became member of the Board of The Markund Times, the most influential newspaper in Brasland.
In 2006 she married landowner Markus von Brautenfeld. They have two sons: Dag (born 2007) and Ivo (born 2008).
In 2012 she succeeded her father as Chairwoman of The Markund Times.
