The Republic of Davinhia is an island nation located in the middle of the Keigan Sea. It's hard working population of 2.5 billion Davinians enjoy the freedom to do almost everything.

The tiny, mixed, pro-business government concentrates mainly on Education, although Commerce and Healthcare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Grove Street. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 11%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Crime, is totally unknown. This is because of the all pervasive police force.

Davinhia's national animal is the Jackolope, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Scientific Christianity, and its currency is the Davinhio.

Davinhia, at one point, was a peaceful, pacifist nation. Davinhia is not a warmongering nation, however it shall use it's defense forces as much as needed, to protect the rights of their citizens. The military is one of the biggest, most advanced military in the world.

History

Settlement and Breaking free

The Republic of Davinhia comes from a nation of strength. Ikanian government slipped past TEP security, and settled on islands in the Keigan Sea. They held control of it from 1999-2013, in which a group of annoyed, capitalist, protestors attacked the loyalists. With the aid of East Pacific cargo ships, Davinian protesters became rebels. The war lasted only five months, with Davinian rebel win. Ikania retreated all of their colonies out of the Keigan Sea by 2020.

Early life

The new nation struggled to name their nation. Before they named the nation, they decided to name the nation whoever they elected king. They picked the general of the army, Davin Hue. Only being 16 at the time, he made some tough decisions. They elected him king, and named the nation, Davinhia. They needed a name for their currency, while throwing out their Diruas. They named the currency after Davin. Davin later stated, that he wanted the nation to be fair. He declared himself, President. He then made his best friend, Vladimir Scaramastro, the vice president. And as time went on, the government got bigger.

Politics

Davinhia is an oligarchic republic country led by a president, and a vice president. Elected every 6 years by Davinhia, and it's citizens. They are legislative.

Legislative

The legislative is one of the two branches of the Davinian government. This is home to 7 (as of right now) people. They issue bills, and make laws. They have the most power, and have a few different jobs. It is lead by a head of legislature, and the President/Vice President.

Judicial

The judicial branch is a smaller branch. It has most control over the military, and law. It owns the security building, and has only 3 members (as of right now)

The Republic of Davinhia has 14 states on it's main island. On it's annexed island it has 12 states. Geography

Davinhia is an Island nation. Davinhia, an island about 800,000 sq miles, is a tiny nation. Able to fit 1 billion people, it is not very densely packed. Among the lines, another nation formerly known as Timbo4567 was overthrown government by Davinians, who renamed the country, Davinhia 2. With a failing economy, they sold KAA tech to enemies such as Ruswall, and Canwall. Davinhia invaded, and citizen votes called for annexation. There we got more land and more population. While the people who named the geography of Davinhia 2 were drunk, they called 2 bays "gulfs."
