Johnston Henrie Lavoy (born 1 October 1987) is Neo Kingstonion singer-songwriter, dancer and choreographer. He rose to fame in 2004 with the release of his debut album Alive which spawned the number-one singles Pretty Crazy and Gettin' Over U. His second album release ...and Well saw limited commercial success in 2005. Lavoy's third album Real Deal, released in 2007, won four Audi Awards and has sold over 5 million copies in addition to total sales of 17 million singles from the album (lead and title single Real Deal being the top selling single of 2007).
Lavoy's 2010 fourth album release Untransformed was the second best selling of the year (behind Alexandrea Bancey's Dreams), moving over 5 million copies. His latest album Shocking Headlines was released in March 2013 and has so far sold over 2 million copies. In his career Lavoy has sold over 15 million albums and 35 million singles with total sales of 50 million making him of the best selling artists in Neo Kingston of the 21st century.
Lavoy has written for several recording artists including his younger brother Brad Lavoy, Alexandrea Bancey, Magenta and Alkatrazz. He works as a dancer and choreographer and was a judge on the final two episodes of season six of So You Think You Can Dance in 2012 (following the death of judge Marcus Grey) and was a guest judge on the seventh season in 2013. He will be a judge on The Voice of the Union in 2014.
