Worldvision 63, Erica
Besen had always been a nation, broadcasting or streaming the contests, since Worldvision 60. However, it wasn't until the 63rd edition came around, BSS stepped in to make a debut. Erica (Erica Rodman) was selected later in the sign-up process to represent Besen. She had prepared for a long time though, having her song played on Besenian radio, performing live at Besenian festivals etc. When she arrived on the scene of Worldvision 63, performing as number 6, she brought the energy and attitude. Her song, an upbeat pop track about overcoming a broken heart, faired reasonably well amongst the WV community- picking up 48 points- and placing 12th. BSS felt a certain joy, yet sadness that they had put in so much effort to then be rejected from at least the top 10. And so, they decided to put in more effort for better results.
Worldvision 64, KRENA
After their twelfth place finish of the last edition, BSS had a meeting to discuss the future of Besen in the contest. They said "We must bring something different." and they did. KRENA (Hans Krenas) had been producing and putting out popular alternative music for years. BSS approached him a few weeks after Erica's turn was up, and they immediately began working on the song. "I Live for You" became the one track in mind for Besen to use. KRENA was then confirmed as well as the release of the song. Craig Henisi turned up in Nekoni as the stage director of KRENA'S performance, choreographing the routine and directions. He performed well, and was positively critiqued- ending the night with 61 points, in 11th place. The improvement of results lifted the spirits of Besenians and BSS itself. They promised something higher impact for the next edition.
Worldvision 65, Celine
After the long process of Besarfest (the one-time Besenian NF), three semi finals and a grand finale, Celine was chosen to represent her country with the song "We are the Fighters". It discusses the taboo topics of sexual assault and abuse and the manipulation of people. She performed 13th on the night, waving her flag in the middle of the show. At the end of the night, she had racked up the most points of any Besenian entry, yet the worst result so far. It was due to this that BC1 decided to take a 5 edition break to fix internal issues. Celine was also the first Besenian entry to pick up any 12 points.
Worldvision 70, Lori
Out of the blue, towards the end of the sign-up process, BC1 announced their plans to have a comeback in the competition. Ditching the national final process Besarfest, the broadcaster went for Lori to represent Besen, singing 'Tempo'. Little is known about the up-and-coming artist. The hope was that a top 10 finish would reignite Besenian confidence in participation of Worldvision.
Worldvision 71, TBD
Confirmed by BC1, a new national final after 'Besarfest' shall take place. It will be called 'Cana dor Besein'.
