Nikolaus von Henslen

Count Nikolaus von Henslen (born 1969) is a Braslander businessman. He is the son of Count Ludwig von Henslen.

Nikolaus studied Business Management in the US, and worked several years there. In 2001 he returned to Brasland to help manage the remaining family companies. The Schmidt Group had been severaly damaged by the economic policies of the Palmerson administration and it needed new faces to help rebuilding the holding.

After the end of the republican regime, Nikolaus led the Schmidt Group's investments in the field of tourism, buying a small chains of hotels and transforming it into one of the largest in Brasland.

In 2004 he married his longtime girlfriend Emma Featherstone, who is English. They have three children: Violet (born 2006), Lionel (born 2008) and Diane (born 2012).
