The Rose City Independent School District is a public school district covering the city of Rose City, Texas, across the Neches River from Beaumont. Rose City was previously covered by the Vidor Independent School District, but with growth spurred by several federal agencies making Rose City home, the community petitioned the Texas Education Agency to create an independent school district in 2013.
