Xi Sang Sey

History

1802-1865: The Start of a new day

The founding of Xi Sang Sey, in 1865, was lead by a revolution that began 63 years before the founding. The Matasuda's, a gang of ruthless and aggressive lords that controlled the land of modern day Xi Sang Sey taxed the people. The poorer you were, the more you were taxed. A man named Ki Lee Whan rose up one day upon a branch, recorded in the 'Fugu Masumi'.

"and he stood above the people, on that branch of wisdom and spoke his words of freedom and courage." - Extract from the Fugu Masumi

Ki Lee spoke of a new world of choosing their leaders and create law and order so the evil Matasuda's would never reign again. After Kawasaki Matasuda, ruler of the Matasuda's, found out about his rebellious behavior he ordered him to be whipped to the point of death.

He was tied to a post, had his mouth stuffed with a sponge of vinegar and was whipped until a band of rebels fought back to save their role model and savior. For the coming months the battles raged on between the rebels and Matasuda's, leaving many dead. The war was contained to Xi Sang Sey after surrounding nations shot at anyone fleeing the war-torn nation.

Ki Lee was killed in battle on the 7th of May, 1817, after falling off his horse and suspected to have broken his neck. The Matasuda's celebrated his death while the rebels mourned, and chose their next leader.

Lu Mau Whan, son of Ki Lee, was elected leader, on the 23rd of May, 1817, by the thousands of rebels that attended the election. Lu Mau marched into battle four hours after being elected, winning in a land slide in the battle & election.

The fighting grew more fierce during the 1830's when rebel soldiers were being supplied bolt action rifles by an unknown source. The Matasuda's realized that they had met their match and tried to retreat to defend their capital, Bu Mau.

On the 19th of January, 1843, Lu Mau Whan was found dead in his house after suffering health problems from the past few months. He was succeeded by Xi Sang, the ruler who changed the tied in the war.

Bu Mau became the battle of the century, after lasting over 30 years. The battle started in 1834 and became the center point of world murders and crime. The Matasuda's managed to keep the gates closed for 30 years, suffering raids by the rebels. The rebels went by the Xi Sang Army, named after their current ruler.

On the 24th of December, 1865, the Xi Sang Army used several cannons to destroy the front gate and several parts of their fortified wall to enter the city and end the war once and for all. The battle lasted hours of chaos and destruction, reportedly unjustified murders by the Xi Sang Army too.

Xi Sang stood on top of the Crystal Palace and announced their victory, as he shot the leader of the Matasuda's, for the very last time.
