Nobelissimos (Latin: "most noble"), in Diadochian Greek nōbelissimos (Greek: νωβελίσσιμος), is one of the highest imperial titles in the Diadochian empire. The feminine form of the title was Nobilissima. The title is bestowed on the Grandsons of the Emperor and they are sometimes called the Grandson of Diadochia or in french the language of the imperial court Petit-fils de Diadochia. Females have the style petite-fille de Diadochia (Granddaughter of Diadochia).

Privileges and Rights

Nobelissimos and Grandson of Diadochia or in french the language of the imperial court Petit-fils de Diadochia was the style and rank accorded to the sons of the Fils de Diadochia, who were themselves sons of the Emperors, Crown Prince, and Princes and Archdukes of Diadochia.

The petits-enfants de Diadochia, like the enfants de Diadochia, were entitled to be addressed as His Imperial and Royal Highness (French: Altesse Impériale et Royale/Greek: Αυτοκρατορικό και Βασιλικό Υψηλότητας).

Additionally, they traveled and lodged wherever the Emperor did, could dine with him, and were entitled to an armchair in his presence.

When entering a town, they were greeted with a presentation of arms by the imperial garrison, by the firing of cannon, and by a delegation of local officials. However, only the sons and daughters of Diadochia were entitled to dine alone on a canopied dais amidst non-royal onlookers.

Insignia

The rank's insignia include a purple tunic, mantle and belt, indicating the exalted position of its holder.
