"Song of the Citizens" is the national anthem of The Republic of Setzna. It was formerly known as the March of the Youths and was written and composed by William S. Schultz, a Setznan revolutionary and Shima Nao's right hand man in the Setznan Rebellion from 1968-1972. Schultz had also written the anthem of the Rebellion, "Liberate the People" Nao and Schultz would soon revise the lyrics in 1973 for the song to serve as the national anthem of Setzna which at the time was a fledgling republic.

Lyrics

March of the Youths (1969-1973)
Youth of Setzna, arise! And at our Country's call

Single in heart let us open the way; let us keep in mind

Our millenary history. From North to South, brothers,

Let us unite. Our young hearts are crystal pure;

Unsparing of our ardent blood, let our efforts increase.

No danger, no obstacle can hold us back.

Despite a thousand trials our courage is unshaken.

On this new road our eyes embrace the horizon,

Our soaring youthful spirit is undauntable.

Youth of Setzna, to the very end! this we resolve.

To give ourselves completely, this we vow.

Forward together for a glorious life,

Remember we are the generation of Shima Nao!

Song of the Citizens (1973-Present)
Oh citizens! Our country has reached the day of unification!

Of one heart we go forth, sacrificing ourselves with no regrets.

For the future of the people, advance into battle,

Let us make this land eternally strong.

Should our bodies be left on the battlefields,

The nation will be avenged with our crimson blood

In troublesome times, we shall live,

We the People remain resolute in our hearts and minds.

Courageously we will fight such that everywhere,

The Glory of Setzna forever resounds!

Oh citizens! Hasten to offer yourselves under the flag!

Oh citizens! Hasten to defend this land,

Escape from destruction, and bask our rise in glory

Be forever worthy of the descendants of Setzna!

AN: This is quite literally just the anthem of South Vietnam. It was originally written and composed by Lưu Hữu Phước, a Vietnamese communist. I just took the song and switched out a few words to fit in with my country's lore.
