The Beautiful Empire of Orioni, commonly referred to as Orioni (o·ri·o·ni; pronounced /ɒɹiːɒniː/), is a country situated in eastern Europa. It is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Joni Nabérrie with an even hand, and renowned for its complete lack of prisons.
Orioni as a constitutional monarchy, with the empire organised as a democratic parliamentary federal republic. The empress is defined by the constitution as "the symbol of the state and of the unity of the people."
