The Games of the XI Olympiad, are an international multi-sport event to be celebrated in the city of Aeropag, Paripana.

Host selection
A bid from Ilysea, Ilyseum was the only bid submitted for the Games, and approved by a vote of the Olympic Council, but was subsequently withdrawn. The executive committee of the Olympic Council invoked emergency provisions of the Olympic Charter to reschedule and move the events to Aeropag.

Demonstration events
The demonstration events chosen for the XI Olympiad were American football, Ancient pentathlon, baseball-softball, and Sevenball.
The host bid from Ilyseum had originally included the events of Blitzball, Pankration, women’s Baseball and men’s Softball but these were cancelled following Ilyseum's withdrawal.
Qualification events
Owing to the circumstances of the change of hosting venue at short notice, qualification events were held for the first time, in a number of countries immediately prior to the opening of the Olympics. In general, athletes representing NOCs in particular regions contested the qualification event geographically closest to them, with qualification quotas per event assigned in particular for athletics. The Paripana Sporting Council and defending Olympic champions were automatically qualified.
