The 1st Airborne Brigade is a formation of the Elizian Land Federal Guard. It was activated in May 2013 as the 1st Infantry Brigade (Provisional). It is trained and equipped for autonomous high-intensity operations and rapid deployment, and has limited special-operations capability.
History
2013 unrest
During the 2013 welfare riots, the brigade cleared and held areas of strategic importance in the commonwealth of Boone, including major cities such as Sealth, Rainier, and Pineport, and airfields in the environs. The latter were used to bring in redirected commercial flights.
