The 1st Season of Ruhn-i-Lehtese Football began in 2016. Two competitions were held - the RiLFA Championship & 2nd League tournaments. AC Klemetsby won the Championship with 69 points. Flaka FC, AC Northern Ruhnu and Styrso Club completed the TOP4 which qualified to next season's RiLFA Cup of the Championship 2nd Round. All other clubs advanced to the 1st round, apart from the relegated club - Banbok-Godby FS. The 2nd League was won by Lumparland FS with 45 points. They were the only side to win more then a half of all their games. This victory gave Lumparland FS a spot in next season's Cup tournament. 7th place Gottby R.F.C. were promoted, as the relegated club was from their region, and none of the A teams above them were in it.
