The 2014 Mauwul Riots began at 11:20 AM after the murder of a Narsoran Native man, 24-year old Goyathlay Aputsiaq by a gang of Narsoran Spanish men.
Background
On December 11, 2014 24-year old Goyathlay Aputsiaq was beaten to death by a group of four men following an altercation in which the four men (of Narsoran Spanish ethnicity) made racial remarks to Aputsiaq as he was walking by, reported as being "bastardo endogámica marrón" (eng.brown inbred bastard). Aputsiaq then confronted the men and demanded to know what was said, the men continued harassing him then began beating him by (according to witnesses) kicking, punching, stomping on him and slamming his head into the pavement.
