By-elections

Prime Minister 1

As a result of Socialist National Kazakhstan's failed confidence vote in the June 2017 election, Obiristan was elected in a by-election for Prime Minister. The sole candidate was Obiristan. Voting was held from 6 to 7 July 2017. The results of the vote were as follows:

Yes

14
No

6

Prime Minister 2

As a result of Prime Minister Obiristan's resignation, a first by-election was held and failed to produce a successor. The sole candidate was The Public Person. Voting was held from 16 to 17 August 2017, though a rejected bid to drop out of the race by The Public Person on the first day of voting and a subsequent legal block confused voters as to the status of the voting form, resulting in a low turnout. The results of the vote were as follows:

Yes

0
No

6

Prime Minister 3

As a result of Prime Minister Obiristan's resignation, which was followed by an unsuccessful first by-election, ? was elected in a second by-election for the position. The candidates were Franckley, Halfblakistan, New Lonopolian Empire and VegemiteIsGross. Voting was held from 20 to 21 August 2017. The results of the vote were as follows (tiebreaker was secondary and then third preferences):

Candidates Votes
Round 1 Round 2 Round 3
Franckley 6 7 8 (3, 6)
New Lonopolian Empire 5 5 8 (3, 5)
VegemiteIsGross 3 4
Halfblakistan 2

Justice

Following the resignation of Proletar, a by-election was supposed to be held to fill the vacant position. After no nations nominated themselves in the nomination poll on 23 August 2017, Secretary Llorens appointed VegemiteIsGross to the position.
