Count Adalhard von Pfeirenstein is a Braslander landowner and the head of the House of Pfeirenstein.

He was born in 1984, as the fifth child and only son of Count Ramirus von Pfeirenstein and Baroness Sylvine von Echter. At the time of his birth, there were no other surviving branches of the Pfeirenstein family.

In 1989 his father died, making Adalhard head of the comital house. He attended Rottendorf College, later served in the Pfeirenstein Guards (named after one of his ancestors) and then attended the Institute of Agricultural Studies in Thurwald.

Adalhard met Princess Maria Assunta of Brasland in 2013. He felt attracted to her beauty and her simple religious devotion. They were engaged in December of that year and got married at the chapel of Augustenberg Castle in June 2014. After the wedding, the couple settled in Götzingen Castle, in Nixinsel. They have a son, Ramirus (b. 2015) and a daughter, Auguste (b. 2017).
