Aurians are a species of serpent-like humanoids who share both snake and human-like characteristics. While possing the same scales, fangs, and sometimes even venom as their less-evolved relatives, the snakes, all Aurians have evolved to include a pair of arms, superior eyesight, and a complex brain similar to a human being.
