Bartoss is a city in Brooks County, Alaska, Cascadia. The population was 13,712 at the 2040 census.

The city has functioned as a major crossroads in Central Alaska over the last two centuries, with several major highways passing through the business district of the town, including Interstate 3, Alaska State Highway Brooks, CR 213, and Beltway 10.

Public schools

The Bartoss-Contel Consolidated School District includes five campuses, Wylie Primary School, Wylie Elementary School, Northside Intermediate School, Bartoss Middle School, and Bartoss High School. The school mascot of Bartoss is a lion, and the school colors are red and blue. School sports are an important part of Bartoss culture. Many students are a member of one or more athletic organizations, including Cheering Squad, Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Softball, Volleyball, Powerlifting, Baseball, Wrestling, Tennis, Track, and Majorette Squad.

A very, very small portion of the City of Henderson falls within Jaketon Independent School District.
