The Battle of the Persian Gulf was the only battle fought during the German-Tamil Conflict. The Tamil Islands prepared to stage a naval invasion of the Grossdeutsches Reich and had sent off battleships to attack the German coast. The Tamil Islands had made a secret alliance with the nation of Serbia, whose government had sent secret naval force to assist the Tamil Islands during the invasion. The German forces attempted to intercept the invading Tamil ships, which were travelling through the Persian Gulf off the coast of Spain.

The travelling German forces were lured to confront the Tamil Fleet, when unbeknownst to them, the large pack of Serbian submarines began attacking them with torpedo fire. The Germans quickly realized they were overwhelmed and were fooled into a nonstrategic position. 22 of the 90 German aircraft had already taken off to attack the Tamil fleet before they realized the severity of the unknown attackers. The German aircraft carries were quickly set ablaze before most of the aircrfat took off. The German forces quickly withdrew from the battle as the Serbian submarines continued to harass them with torpedo fire. The Tamil forces were able to sustain all defenses against the incoming aircraft attacks and forced the remaining German aircraft in the air to flee to their bases in Spain.
