English Name: Christian Democratic Party Leader: Ignacio Miralles Established: 1933 Ideology: Social Conservativism, Christian Democracy, Third Way Economics Political Position: Center-Right Bloc: National Bloc Description Considered the primary voice of the Papacy, the Christian Democratic party is a Socially Conservative, Economically centrist party. Between the Liberals and the Conservatives, the party is considered economically similar to the Liberals while sharing the Conservative parties support for Christian and Family Values. The party was supportive of the coup led against the People's Intergity Party, and views Liberal party rule as a lesser of evil to the Socialists. The party is overall politically closest to the Conservatives, but has access to working class areas that the Conservatives do not due to its support for many social programs.
