Colin Walker (born April 24, 2004) is an attorney, Cascadian Navy Reserve officer, real estate investor, and politician. He is the middle child of former UCS Presidents Anthony S. Willis and Elisabeth B. Willis.

Early life

Willis was born in Beaumont, Texas. Willis has two siblings: older brother Jacob Willis, former Christian States President, and younger brother, Geoffrey Willis

Willis attended Legacy Christian Academy in Beaumont and earned an undergraduate degree from Rice University in 2026 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2029.

Political activity

When asked in 2033 about whether he planned to run for office himself, Bush replied that his mother, Elisabeth B. Willis, had advised that anyone thinking about entering politics should distinguish himself in some other field first: "Make a name for yourself, have a family, marry someone great, have some kids, buy a house, pay taxes, and do the things everyone also does instead of just running out and saying, 'Hey, I'm the nephew of or the son of or the grandson of...'"

Willis criticized Florida Governor Mason MCCarble (in office 2037–2041) for accepting money from the 2039 stimulus package, calling for a return to fiscal conservatism. In January 2036, he endorsed his brother, Jacob Willis, for Christian States President.

Willis served as a member of several diplomacy missions, including one to Nicaragua for the fourth peaceful transfer of power in that country, and one to Brazil for the Pan American Games. He also joined two UCS Congressional Delegations, one to Saudi Arabia during the second Arab Spring of 2041 and one to Turkey in 2012 at the time of the Turkish Civil War.

He is the deputy finance chairman of the Libertarian Party of Alaska.

Career

After leaving law school, he clerked for Cascadian District Court for the Central District of Alaska, Sidney A. Fitzwater.

Willis currently manages McGovern-Willis LLP, an energy and technology-focused investment firm in Jaketon, Alaska. Before entering the real estate investment business, he practiced corporate and securities law with McGovern.

Willis is the national co-chair of Maverick PAC, a national political action committee dedicated to engaging the next generation of Libertarian voters. Bush is also a co-founder and on the board of directors of Hispanic Libertarians of Alaska, a political action committee whose goal is to elect Libertarian political candidates of Hispanic heritage to office in Alaska.

Military service

On March 21, 2037, the Cascadian Navy Reserve announced the selection of Willis for training as an intelligence officer through the direct commission officer program, a Navy initiative whereby applicants in specialized civilian fields forgo the typical prerequisites of a commission, such as boot camp, and – instead – attend two weeks of classes on subjects such as military history and customs, followed by online classes.

Personal life

Willis married a law school classmate, Amanda Williams, on August 7, 2034 in Jaketon, Alaska. Williams is a media law attorney at the firm Jackson Walker LLP in Riverside, Alaska. They currently live in Bartoss, Alaska. On June 3, 2013, Bush and his wife had a baby boy named Prescott.
