English Name: Communist Party of Rosario Leader: Julián Ruiz Established: 1918 Ideology: Marxism-Leninism, Communism Political Position: Far-Left Bloc: Popular Bloc Description The Communist Party of Rosario is a Marxist-Leninist party that occupies the far left of the political spectrum. The party is strongly opposed to American influence in Rosario and supports using a combination of democratic and militant uprising to dislodge the Liberal Party's dominance. The party seeks the destruction of Capitalism and the formation of a one party Socialist state. While formally being a marginal party, the Communists have seen a rise in support due to the coup of 1954 and the Revolution in the Caribbean nation of Cuba. Allied with the People's Intergity Party and the Radical Party in a Popular Front against the status quo, the party ultimately seeks its own rise to power first and foremost.
