A tournament was conducted to determine the champion. #3 St. Cloud State defeated Washington 36-25, #4 Evansville defeated Princeton 21-10, #2 Radford defeated St. Cloud State 26-14, Evansville upset #1 Washington State 12-3, Radford outlasted Evansville 14-13.

LCAA Hockey is the only sport in which there is no Division II. All schools that play hockey immediately start in Division I.
