EZIC

EZIC, also known as The Order of The EZIC Star, is a kitari terrorist group in northern Audax. They use tactics such as murder, terrorism, bribery, and secret deals to try to increase the authority of The Kitari in the north.

During the 1st Blackwatch war in 1994, 2 close friends from the village of Erzo (which was destroyed prior to the group's founding) , Alex Lauer and Robert Verita, formed the group to oppose the new genocidal Blackwatch Government, allegedly lead by Treven Von Stein. Standing for The "ErZo DrakItari Coalition", its purpose was rallying an array of Drakitari resistance groups in under a single banner. Despite initial successes of the group, Blackwatch would discover the identity of Alex, leading to Blackwatch troops executing Alex and his entire family, with only a daughter surviving. This, combined with growing atrocities in the areas, would make Robert more and more radical in his mission to save Vandinium's Drakitari population. Eventually, he would work with former Blackwatch member Cessius Tesari in is resistance against Blackwatch. When Blackwatch was defeated, EZIC, now without a purpose, would be reorganized by Robert (Now only known as"Overlord"). Since the groups original mission was complete, he would gather the EZIC members who agreed with his plans and relocate to Artstotszka. Once there, he was approached by the Ministry of Information and offered a deal: As long as he only committed low casualty attacks and informed the MoI of what attacks were committed, he could be funded by the MoI and be based out of Artstotszka. He would continue this role until Late 2013, when the 2nd Blackwatch regime took power. He would then focus a majority of EZIC resources to fighting a guerrilla war against Blackwatch. While relatively minor in the Blackwatch war, he would send Agent #47 to acquire the information on the Blackwatch Leadership's meeting in Vandinium's Capital. This info would then in turn be handed to the Director of the MoI, leading to the bombardment of Castle Blackwatch by EXCALIBUR Station. After the New Republic was declared, Robert, know only known as "Overlord" by everyone but his most trusted agents, would order the group to stay in Vandinium to help fight the Nationalists. By then, The constant racial violence in Vandinium convinced Overlord that the only way that the drakitari of Vandinium could be saved was by putting them under the control of The Artstotszkan Empire. Due to this plan, in early 2017 Overlord would assign Agents 47 and 29 to Vandinium, to try and secure a deal for annexation of Northern Vandinium as well as exploit instabilities in the New Republic's government.
