Economides & Co.

Economides & Co. is a Diadochian company known for silver manuufacturing. The company was founded in 1830 by Georgios Romanos Economides and his brother Lefteris Economides. The company is a Purveyor to the Imperial and Royal Court of Diadochia. It operated under the name G. L. Economides & Co. until 1847, when a third partner, Ioannis Manos, joined the firm. It operated as Economides, Manos, & Co. until 1866, when the partnership with Manos was terminated. The firm has operated independently as Economides & Co. from 1866 to the present.


In 1868 Emperor George VII of Diadochia gave Economides & Co. permission to copy a large part of the imperial table collection. Subsequently, several orders were completed, in which many noble families also gave Economides & Co. permission to copy their family silver and other works of art. Over the course of history it has became very successful and is one of the prime producers of silver plating in Diadochia.
