The Elven Premier League or Premiership as it called locally, is the top tier of domestic football in Valanora. It is governed by the Valanora Sporting Council and directed by the Valanora Footballing Association.

History

International Qualification

The champion of the league and the team that finishes second automatically qualify for the Champions' Cup, while the third and fourth place team automatically qualify for the Globe Cup. For the third allocation spot, the result of the Silver Cup determines who gets it. If the winner of the Silver Cup has already qualified for an international competition, then the fifth place team in the table usually gets the final slot, otherwise the winner of the Silver Cup is awarded that slot. However it has been known to happen on occasion that the runner up of the Silver Cup, if not already qualified themselves, are awarded the slot, or if the winner of the Silver Cup is not in the Premiership.
