The Emergency Response Team (Spanish:Equipo de Respuesta de Emergencia) is the tactical response unit of the Narsoran National Police, tasked with hostage rescue, counter-terrorism and High-risk arrests. It is a specialist unit of the Tactical Operations Command.

History
The unit was formed in 1986, after the murder of four police officers by a group of gang members in 1985. In the early 1990's the unit was involved in the dismantling of numerous street gangs as part of then president Adrián Gómez anti-crime plan. In 2006, the unit was involved in the arrest of four escaped criminals from the Abaroa Prison in the city of Abaroa. In their most recent large deployment in September 2015, the unit was involved in the dismantling of the Brigada Roja (Red Brigade) anarchist group.
Operations
The unit is commonly deployed in anti-gang operations to arrest armed gang members, usually in the capital Narsora City and the city of Manzulo.
