Franz Behrend (born 4 August 1872) is a Rotgeheiman Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant Colonel) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He currently serves as the battalion commander for the 2nd Fallschirmjäger Battalion, 30th Fallschirmjäger Regiment, 30th VS-Airborne Division Ramcke.
He is currently married to Judith Hansch, with whom he has two children, Paula and Thorsten.
