Count Friedrich III von Urbach (1731-1785) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Count Friedrich II von Urbach.

In 1752 he married Duchess Wilhelmine von Kerlich. They had six children: Friedrich (1753-1757), Wilhelmine (born 1754), Karl (born 1756), August (born and died 1757), Adam (born 1759) and Sibylle (born 1761).

The Count was one of the closest friends of King Frederick III. They reportedly wrote to each other every week when they were separated. Although he was not interested in astrology as the King was, they both share an interest in the occult and had long discussions about the subject. Although the Court gossip suggested they were lovers, there is no proof of this and their letters do not suggest a relationship of this sort.

He died in 1785.
