Friedrich von Hohenburg

Friedrich, Prince von Hohenburg (1760-1803) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Prince Anselm von Hohenburg.

He was a great patron of the arts, buying many works of art for the family collection. He also helped to expand the town of Thurwald.

In 1786 he married Countess Eloise von Henslen, sister of Princess Sophie von Fürstenstein. They had two children: Adam (born 1787) and Luise (born 1788). Eloise died in childbirth in 1788. Friedrich was devastated and never remarried, although he had many affaires.

He died in 1803.
