As his father, he served as Vice-Chairman of Ledonitz Brothers.
In 1971 he married Auguste von Ledonitz. They had five children: Felix (born 1973), Richard (born 1975), Klara (born 1977), Hans (born 1981) and Josephine (born 1983).
