Gaston de Courtenay

His Serene Highness Prince Gaston de Courtenay (full name: Gaston Joseph Marie Jean Boniface Laurent) is a Braslander businessman and the head of the Princely House of Courtenay.

He was born in 1943, the son of Prince François de Courtenay.

He succeeded a distant cousin as head of the Courtenay family.

In 1969 he married Edith von Ledonitz. They have seven children: Emmanuel (born 1970), Marie Thérèse (born 1971), Marie Adélaïde (born 1973; nun), Marie Isabelle (born 1975), Marie Sophie (born 1978), Marie Laurence (born 1979) and Guillaume (born 1983).

He is the owner of one of the largest forestry companies in Brasland. He also owns several properties, among them the historic Lix Castle in the northwestern coast of Brasland.
