Jaketon Independent School District is a school district that is based in the city of Jaketon, Alaska, Cascadia. It was established in 2009. The district serves most of the City of Jaketon, the City of Lake Jaketon, and unincorporated areas in Brooks County. The district operates 124 schools including 81 elementary schools, 18 middle schools, and 16 high schools.

Finances

As of the 2040-2041 school year, the appraised valuation of property in the district was $59,878,940,000. The maintenance tax rate was $0.108 and the bond tax rate was $0.015 per $100 of appraised valuation.
