Joseph von Ettingen und Steinbach

Joseph, Prince von Ettingen und Steinbach (1906-1982) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Prince Otto von Ettingen und Steinbach.

In 1932 he married Isabella von Heytfeldt. They had eight children: Maria Theresia (born 1934), Leonille (born 1936), Ludmilla (born 1936), Rosa (born 1938), Otto (born 1940), Marie (born 1941), Stanislaus (born 1945) and Livia (born 1948).

Joseph was a keen hunter and a supporter of many institutions that devoted to this activity. He was somewhat eccentric, but very much loved by the people of the Steinbach valley due to his generous contributions to numerous social initiatives in the area.

He died in 1982.
