Overview

The Dictatorship of Killzone35 is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by The supreme overlord of the Killzone with an iron fist, and renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.367 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stillwater. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 83%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Arms Manufacturing, and Automobile Manufacturing industries.

A large percentage of the poor live from cradle to grave in subterranean wage slavery, closed universities are currently being converted into MacDonald's restaurants, strange looking men with big red noses are found hiding behind bushes and inside dustbins, and phone taps are frequently carried out by the police. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Killzone35's national animal is the Bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is christanity, and its currency is the doller.
