Leonid Arzamastsev (Laiatanese: Леонид Арзамастев, October 28, 1831 - January 2, 1887) was the head of the military coup d'état that took place in Laiatan on July 8, 1880, and the leader of the junta from 1880 to 1886. He held his power until late 1886, when he was overthrown following a failed coup and a civil war.

Arzamastsev attended the Laiatanese Imperial Army Academy as a young man, and served 30 years in the Laiatanese Imperial Army. He rose through the ranks and held several command positions before eventually commanding the Volkgoroda Guards as a General-Colonel in 1877. The Volkgoroda Guards were instrumental in his takeover of the government.

He and Milorad Kosterlovovich were detained trying to flee Volkgoroda during the final weeks of the civil war by Laiatanese partisans, who handed them over to more organized forces. He was tried by a military tribunal during the transition period between the abolition of the Laiatanese monarchy and the establishment of a federation. He was found guilty on charges of high treason, crimes against lupines, insurrection, and conspiracy against the state; he was sentenced to death and executed with Kosterlovovich in Imperial Square (today known as Federation Square).
