The Borderlands of Lexicor is a semi continental anarchic and polycentric law based Republic.

Overview

Modern day Lexicor was established after a stock market and real estate crash swept through Montenegro', following the European Central Banks sharp increase in interest rates to proprietary banks. After the breakout of WWIII between the United States and its NATO allies and the Russo-Chino-Arab tripartite alliance, a group of refugees, fleeing the Balkans and the front-lines in the Caucuses settled down in the neutral state of Montenegro. After the continued decline of European economies and a brutal wave of nuclear strikes in the region, civilians in the Balkans, Montenegro and much of Eastern Europe held a convention to secede from both the EU and from NATO. Lexicor continued to expand its power and influence, as a pivotal land-route crossing between the Middle Easts' oil rich Islamic states and the energy hungry Chinese. As hyper inflation began to ravage western and Mediterranean states, they too began to withdraw from NATO and EU, choosing instead to integrate as autonomous regions of Lexicor. As unemployment began to drop, Lexicor abandoned current available currencies in favor of a Gold Standard and a Cryptocurrency Standard, weakening the then central governments stranglehold on the economy.

Violence erupted in 2009 after an American recession, after which the Lexicorian Central Government began confiscated gold, silver and bitcoin in order to safeguard future trade deals with the now disintegrated former world hegemony. This lead to the Communist Revolution (2008-2009), then the 1st Lexicorian Civil War (2009-2012) and the War for Freedom/2nd Lexicorian Civil War (2012-2014) which saw the collapse of statism in Lexicor and the re-ratification of the Gaukian Constitution. Coupled with its victory against the Russian Federation (2013) and in minor incursions by Latvia (2013), Croatia (2013), Bulgaria, (2013) and Germany (2014) the Borderlands of Lexicor were established. The United States was forced to withdraw from Europe, and Lexicor quickly expanded, over taking and intergrating with the survivors of WWIII.

Early History

From the National Archives

Lexicor is a an anarchic and landlocked country in the Euro-Pacific area, bordering the vast West Pacific region to the west, the nation of Kzaria to the south east and the region of Renegade Islands Alliance to the north/northwest. Its capital and largest city is Lexicor City, while Albaniuis is designated as the Lexikticapitol meaning the seat of the politics.

In the 12th century, there existed three principalities on the territory of modern day Lexicor: Harlef, roughly corresponding to the southern half, Lexcoria, the west, and Albastador, the north. In 1242, Arch Duke Joachim Gauks waged a civil war that unified the three principalities and saw and the establishment of the Hargrebian dynasty. Hagreb reached its zenith under Joachims' son, Tremblay (1276–98), and his son Tremblay (1301–1331)., the first Lexicorian state quickly fell apart after the death of Francois II when it was found that he had not sired a heir. By the 14th century, Kulnik had replaced Hagreb when referring to the realm. In the late 14th century, southern Hagreb (Harlef) came under the rule of the Shaymanisi noble family, then the Kalosi noble family, and by the 15th century, Hagreb was more often referred to as Cvyn Rigvcti . As the Kalosi dynasty disintegrated, Lexicor was ruled by its Bishops until 1696, and then by the House of Tourin until 1918. From 1918, it was a territorial depedency of Yugoslavia and was later partitioned secretly to Montenegro after Yugoslavia disintergrated in 1989.. On the basis of a violent coup d'etat in 2008, Lexicor declared its independence and reinstated an amended constitution ratified by Joachim Gauks in 1246.
