Methodology
Voting
Eligible voters cast their ballot on a single piece of paper displaying each of the candidates for their district, and place a cross next to each one that they approve of.
Counting
Each state elects 4 members to the Parliament of Llorens. Using the proportional approval voting method, the candidate with the highest amount of approval is elected first, then all their voter's votes are halved in value. This process is then repeated to elect another three candidates, so that the lowest vote value by the end of the process is one-eighth of its original value. It should be noted that a voter's vote value is only halved if they voted for the candidate just elected.
