Count Ludwig von Lindau (1779-1840) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Count Damian von Lindau.
In 1810 he married his first cousin, Countess Adelheid von Lindau. They had six children: Maria (born 1811), Friedrich (born 1813), Klaus (1813-1819), Ferdinand (born 1815), Caroline (born 1819) and Hans (born 1821; unmarried).
He served in the Royal Navy with great distinction.
