Deutsche Lufthansa AG is the flag carrier of the Grossdeutsches Reich. It is the most important airline in the country and one of the biggest in the world. The name of the company is derived from Luft (the German word for "air"), and Hansa (after Hanseatic League, the powerful medieval trading group). Lufthansa was founded in 1926 in Berlin. For many years, it has carried people all around the world. During it's 88 years of existence it has carried more than 20,000 million passengers through the sky.
