Maximilian, Prince von Lorensberg (1659-1731) was a Braslander nobleman and military leader. He was the son of Count Ferdinand von Lorensberg.

He took an active role in the war against the empire and was one of the most important lieutenants of Count Ulrich von Henslen, who was also his brother-in-law. After Frederick Balkronn was proclaimed King, he swore loyalty to him, ignoring the nobles that asked him to uprise against Frederick and depose him in order to install Ulrich as the new monarch. As a reward for his services, he was created Prince von Lorensberg with the style of Serene Highness in 1702.

The Prince von Lorensberg remained in the Armed Forces for many years. His presence there helped to avoid potential attempts to use the military against the Crown. He retired in 1728.

In 1703 he married Countess Leonille von Grübenau. They had six children: Maximilian (born 1704), Charlotte (1706-1707), Anna Magdalene (born 1708), Ulrich (1709-1710), Konstantin (1712-1713) and Johann (born 1714).

He was one of the largest landowners in Brasland.

He died in 1731.
