The Adumaran Armed Forces, or AAF, is the military branch of the Adumaran government, and is run by the Grand General during peace time. But if the Chancellor declares a state of emergency, he assumes control of the AAF, and all Military Leaders are knocked down a rank temporarily. There are 3 main branches of the AAF, the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Adumaran Army

The Adumaran Army handled all land operations, domestic or foreign, and is run by the Grand General. The Organization of the Army is as follows, from smallest to largest unit: - Fireteam, 4 men, Corporal; - Squadron, 8 men, Sergeant; - Platoon, 3 Squads, Lieutenant; - Company, 4 Platoons, Captain; - Battalion, 5 Companies, Lieutenant Colonel; - Brigade, 4 Battalions, Colonel; - Division, 5 Brigades, Major General; - Corps, 4 Divisions, Lieutenant General; - Field Army, 2 Corps, Field Marshal.

The Army is further divided into 3 primary branches:

Expeditionary Forces

The Adumaran Expeditionary Forces act as the AAF's Marine force, but number far larger than most other nations' marine forces. The Expeditionary Forces has approximately 103,000 personnel, all specially trained in rifling skills, maritime assault, basic machine operation, hand-to-hand combat, and basic first aid. Truly a force to reckon with.

The Expeditionary Assualt Forces can operate on domestic soil if necessary, but that is typically a job for the Federal Army. The Expeditionary Forces also operates 1,700 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 1,100 Armored Personnel Carriers, 2,980 Infantry Combat Vehicles, 80 Engineering vehicles, 1,100 Main Battle Tanks, 31,000 Light Vehicles, 1,120 Artillery Batteries, 6,060 Medium Cargo Trucks, 2,090 Heavy Cargo Trucks, and 64 Patrol Vehicles.

Federal Army

The Federal Army is the primary land military force of the AAF, and despite not being trained as much as Expeditionary Assault troopers, are still quite an elite force. The Federal Army contains approximately 295,000 personnel, all of whom are trained in rifling skills, basic machine operation, hand-to-hand combat, and basic first aid.

The Federal Army operates wherever necessary, having no operation restrictions. They operate 2,700 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 2,550 Armored Personnel Carriers, 2,920 Infantry Combat Vehicles, 120 Engineering Vehicles, 2,750 Main Battle Tanks, 990 MLRSs, 3,120 Artillery Batteries, 72,000 Light Vehicles,10,340 Medium Cargo Trucks, 6,120 Heavy Cargo Trucks, and 120 Patrol Vehicles.

Common AEF and Army Assault Tactics

A standard Infantry Fireteam consists of the Team Leader, the Corporal, who stands at the front of the formation, the Automatic Rifleman, a standard Rifleman, and the Team Grenadier. When a Squadron is in the field, for either Reconnaissance, Combat, or some other purpose, another Squadron, typically of the same platoon, is on standby with a Helicopter for emergency exfiltration or to assist the first team in their goal(s). When the second squad is sent in, a third is put on standby, and so on.

When in a hostile environment and surrounded by enemies, the Team leader is always in the most secure location, and is protected at all costs, as he doubles as the communications specialist of the team, and is sometimes the only way home for the men.

Adumaran Naval Forces

The Adumaran Navy handles all Maritime combat Affairs, and is split into 2 Divisions, the Coast Guard, which is civilian operated and not on the government payroll, and the DSCF, or Deep Sea Combat Force.

Coast Guard

The Coast Guard is not typically considered a part of the Navy, but is included on this list for simplicity's sake. They are Civilian Operated, payed for by the Ministry of Domestic Affairs. The number of sailors, crew, and other personnel of the Coast Guard varies, but is a volunteer force and generally has a vast surplus of personnel. They are trained in basic rifling, advanced first aid, machine operation, and very basic hand-to-hand combat. The Coast Guard currently utilizes 12 Patrol Craft, and mainly operates in Shallow Waters, Rivers and accessible lakes, and the littoral zone around the Taikow and Marion Islands.

DSCF

The DSCF, or Deep Sea Combat Force, is the primary naval force of Adumara.
