Military Branches
The Armed Ground Forces (Army),Air Force, People's Defense Navy. Military Services and Occupation: Conscription age is 16 upon wartime draft, voluntary military service is 18. Enlistment is for a one-year contract, renewable twice, or a three-tour limit. Males and females are both conscripted and allowed full voluntary service. Officers must be commissioned and may serve until retirement (beginning at 20 years of service or at 40 to 60 years of age).

Structure of Armed Forces
Army
Plains Division
- The traditional expeditionary and defense force.
- 1st Infantry Brigade: Expeditionary forces.
- 1st Armored Brigade: Expeditionary forces.
- 1st Sustainment Brigade: Artillery and intelligence brigade.
Forest Division
- The division suited for unconventional warfare, tactical operations, and joint operations with other military branches.
- 1st Tactical Ops Brigade: Tactical operations and unconventional warfare.
- 1st Combined Arms Brigade: Expeditionary forces.
- 2nd Sustainment Brigade: Artillery and intelligence brigade.
- The navy is a small branch, mainly concerned with patrolling the rivers and lakes. It has a loose command structure separated into tasks forces that respond as needed. Two main task forces are usually maintained.
- Peacetime Patrol Task Force: Constantly patrol Zukchiva's rivers and have messengers ready in case of attack. Frequently also helps police search for wanted criminals.
- Active Defense Task Force: Only functional when war reaches Zukchivan borders, to repel any navy from entering into Zukchiva via rivers. Usually on reserve. Made up of navy men and women who retired from active service but agreed to be on reserve navy for a certain number of years.
